BBC Shakespeare

The main reason is that most of them stank (though a few were first-rate). The BBC committed themselves to the 6 year project and then lost faith in it and just went through the motions. If your college or public library belongs to an interlibrary consortium, you may be able to borrow individual tapes from some library that owns them. I recommend the Hamlet.
