How true!

Hamlet's death at the end could be symbolic of the crucifixion
of Jesus in that Hamlet dies so that the sins of Denmark (ie. the
murder, incest, madness, etc.) can be washed away. In other
words, Hamlet suffers and dies so that the sins of Denmark can
be forgiven.
