Iago


Iago is insane. However his hatred is quite plausible. He cannot forgive Othello for being promoted over him. This causes his hatred to grow like a cancer that is all consuming. He figures at the end that as long as Othello is dead, he can die too. It the same thing as "if I can't have it, no one can."
