Banquo

has a Hebrew meaning that surely Shakespeare knew.
(I've found plenty of Hebrew in Shakespeare.) But I cannot imagine how relevent you will think the meaning is to chemistry. Ban Quo means 'any how' which is an ironic comment on Macbeth's attack upon B's dynasty.
