So read it

If you want to understand everything about King Lear
read the thing a million times and get your hands on all the
criticism that you can. Then see as many productions
as you can in and out of the Theatre, then participate in
productions.
But it sounds like you need Monarch notes or Cliff notes.
Go to a bookstore or I think they have a website.
