Just to let you know, I am a female: it occured to me that a query like that could appear sexist. Anyway, my problem is that I felt there was no real reason to cast women in those parts: it led to a great deal of confusion for the first act. I'm not saying that they did a poor job: they were all wonderful actresses and did an excellent interpretation of the script. I guess I'm just a traditionalist....
